Apart from my role of promoting the and advocating for dance as a discipline and important mode of expression I am committed to making a just and equal society where there is opportunity for all to enjoy the best opportunities in life that includes access to cultural activity and professional engagement in the arts and culture.
Why do you think it’s important to see artistic response to social and political events?
Artists have long been the observers, commentators on and sometimes agents of social and political action and there has never been a greater need for the voice of artist to be present in the current political discourse.
