Tell us about yourself
I believe there is a place and space for everyone in the arts and that creativity has the potential to radically transform our society. I’m motivated by injustice and spend by time as Rising’s Co-Director highlighting the incredible talent of young people – as leaders, creative thinkers and change makers.
What excites you about being part of the ARTCRY panel?
The urgency of the fund that acknowledges the necessary pace of this work and the challenge to larger more traditional funders to be more responsive. Also seeing some of the amazing projects I’m sure will apply!
What components would your dream application have?
Something highlighting a lived experience that’s not often given a voice or a platform, something that interrupts people in their everyday and gets them to engage.
