Tell us about yourself

Hi, I’m an illustrator and graphic designer with a background in social impact work, driven by the idea that art should be accessible to everyone. I’m especially drawn to the intersection of art and activism, and I find my inspiration in zines, DIY culture, and alternative media, spaces that encourage honest expression! I believe there’s something powerful about seeing yourself or the world around you reflected in art, and can’t wait to bring that same ethos to the panel.

What excites you about being part of the ARTCRY panel?

I’m excited about getting political work into spaces that speak to audiences who may usually feel like art is not for them. My own creative practice has given me a way to speak up, question, and connect, and I can’t wait to see applications that do the same.

What components would your dream application have?

Something that makes people pause, reflect, or see things differently. I love seeing work

where both the artist and the audience are part of the conversation.

The Steering Committee

The company directors and panel are involved on an individual capacity, not representing their organisations and on a voluntary basis.

If you are interested in joining the panel in future please email Kathryn Bilyard on kathryn@artcry.co.uk with some information about yourself and why you are interested.
