Award 24: People For Peace

People For Peace, a community collective in Bethnal Green created the Expression Of Feeling mural. This is a response to the silencing of voices of conscience, and is a shared expression of the deep despair and sorrow felt witnessing the horrendous violence in Gaza. The community and passersby are invited to add to the mural on the hoardings around the London Chest Hospital, Bethnal Green.

Sometimes all you need is some paint ... Artcry funded the purchase of paint for the group to help them make this happen and it was painted across August 2025.
